For nearly thirty years, Fredy has worked in education and social impact, leading programs for at-risk youth from diverse sectors of Israeli society, including both the Haredi and public education systems. His work has always centered on creating connection, growth, and a sense of belonging for young people from all backgrounds.

Throughout his career, Fredy has led teams, developed educational and community programs, and built partnerships between schools, municipalities, organizations, and communities across Israel. He brings together extensive leadership experience with a deep commitment to values-driven education and community-building.

Today, Fredy serves as COO of Livnot, where he works to strengthen the connection between young Jews from around the world and Israeli society, heritage, and Jewish identity.

The combination of volunteering and meaningful action — restoring homes for elderly individuals and families during difficult times, and seeing how giving creates genuine belonging, purpose, and mutual responsibility.

Aharon Botzer is the founder and CEO of Livnot U’Lehibanot, which he established in Tzfat in 1980 together with his wife, Miriam. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Aharon graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Education before spending six months traveling through South America. That journey eventually led him to Israel in the 1970s, where he worked on a secular kibbutz, served in the IDF, and began a personal spiritual path that would shape the vision behind Livnot.

For more than four decades, Aharon has helped build Livnot into a unique educational and volunteer organization that combines hands-on rebuilding projects, hiking, spirituality, community, and open Jewish exploration. Under his leadership, Livnot has restored historic sites in Tzfat, including the Beit HaKahal complex and underground tunnels, while welcoming tens of thousands of young Jewish adults from around the world for meaningful experiences rooted in service, connection, and personal growth.

In the wake of October 7th and the war that followed, Aharon helped lead Livnot’s large-scale rebuilding efforts across Israel’s northern and southern border communities, mobilizing professionals and volunteers to restore homes, shelters, schools, and communal spaces. More than forty years after founding Livnot, Aharon continues to believe that building, walking, and exploring the land together in community remains one of the most powerful ways to strengthen Jewish identity and deepen the connection between Israel and the Diaspora.

Jordan brings over 20 years of experience in finance, operations, business development, and Jewish communal service.

A graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, his career spans roles in financial markets, electricity and natural gas development, high-performance sales, and he currently helps facilitate community programming and engagement through the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley. He has demonstrated success in fostering growth and achieving results across the financial, automotive, energy, and nonprofit sectors.

Jordan’s favorite Livnot program activities include joining the hikes to Nahal Amud and the Golan Heights and being part of the group experiencing a spiritual Shabbat in Tzfat.

Leora is a nonprofit marketing and partnerships professional with over a decade of experience spanning Israel advocacy, informal Jewish education, project management, recruitment strategy, and partnership development. Prior to joining Livnot, she served as Partnerships Manager at Momentum Israel. 

In her current role at Livnot, Leora leads the organization’s English-speaking marketing and recruitment efforts, working across teams to keep Livnot’s digital platforms engaging, relevant, and aligned with its mission. Her work includes social media strategy, content creation, graphic design, website management, recruitment funnels, digital storytelling, and outreach campaigns designed to connect young Jews around the world with meaningful experiences in Israel.

Passionate about strengthening Jewish identity, fostering unity within Am Yisrael, and creating transformative Israel experiences, Leora brings creativity, heart, and strategic vision to Livnot’s mission.

Having made Aliyah 10 years ago, Leora now lives in northern Israel with her husband and two daughters. Her favorite Livnot activities include Words of Wisdom, Shabbat in Tzfat, and nature hikes. She deeply believes in the transformative impact of Livnot’s work on the Jewish people and is proud to be part of the team.
