Livnot U'Lehibanot

To Build & To Be Built

Alumot

Alumot is a Livnot U’Lehibanot initiative designed to keep Jewish adults connected to Jewish values, community, and action. This social venture harnesses the energy of Israel experiences through meaningful, locally led programs that foster personal growth, learning, and community engagement. Alumot creates opportunities to build lasting connections through our 3 core activities: Shabbat dinners, guided nature hikes, and community service projects.

Alumot events are geared towards alumni of Israel experiences, aged 21-40 years old.

Shabbaton

Shabbat Retreats & Shabbatonim in Tzfat

Livnot U’Lehibanot offers Shabbat retreats in Tzfat for young adults (ages 21–40) looking for a meaningful, accessible Shabbat experience in Israel. Our co-ed Shabbatonim combine meditation, music, Jewish learning, and time in nature — all in a relaxed, come-as-you-are environment.

Each Shabbat retreat includes guided discussions on spirituality and Kabbalah (no prior background needed), shared meals and optional host-family experiences, yoga and meditation, hikes in the Galilee, and a musical Havdallah to close Shabbat together. Programs are based in the Old City of Tzfat, where history, creativity, and spiritual life are part of the everyday setting.

These Shabbatonim are designed for people who are curious, open, and looking to slow down — whether you’re visiting Israel, living here, or extending a longer trip.

The subsidized price for a Shabbaton is $100 for Thursday night to Saturday night.
