Moshe Aron is an experienced educational program director with more than two decades of leadership in the informal education field. Prior to joining Livnot U’Lehibanot, he served as Director of English-Speaking Programs at Sachlav, an educational Israel tour operator, where he oversaw programs for young Jewish adults from around the world, including Birthright Israel, Volunteer in Israel, Onward Israel, Masa Career, and MasaTech — a flagship initiative developed in partnership with the Prime Minister’s Office and the Israel Innovation Authority.
Earlier in his career, Moshe directed projects for the Koby Mandell Foundation. As the son of olim from the United Kingdom and through his frequent travels to communities across North America, Moshe developed a deep understanding of the diverse experiences, identities, and challenges facing Diaspora Jewry today.
At Livnot, Moshe focuses on building partnerships and developing meaningful educational experiences that strengthen Jewish identity, connection to Israel, and community. He lives in Israel with his wife, Hanna, and their three daughters, Noa, Yael, and Shira. His favorite part of the program is chavruta learning in nature. He believes that connecting outdoor experiences to Jewish literature offers a perspective and depth that can only emerge when learning in the natural world.
